Fast X is a wonder; everyone thought it was going to be a sell out because, who keeps the game up after 9 parts? And the last three parts of franchise wasn’t that up to par for me but it’s fast and furious, we saw it and loved either way, it’s la familia.
Fast X just became the best for me of the whole Franchise and it’s all thanks to Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa), he was the antagonist who single-handedly made the movie Fast, Crazy, Fun, Loud and Furious. Last time we saw this was with Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) in Fast and Furious 7.
Jason Momoa character Dante is a Psycho whom he portrayed and played with perfection, he is the Numero uno of the movie. His act, devilish smile, tricks, quotes, talking to dead corpses 😊, evil laugh and relationship with his men was AWESOME 😎.
Least I forgot, his ballet dancing is word class, his gender neutral dress sense and all the style he made his beautiful hair into throughout the movie. It’s not like Dom and the crew were not on their A game but Dante’s was tripleA (AAA).
We still enjoyed Tej’s (Ludacris) sarcasm towards Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and their little fight which was made physical this time, Ramsey’s (Nathalie Emmanuel) beautiful accent and her geeky explanation of tech, Roman’s hard dry funny jokes, Han’s (Sung Kang) handsomeness and driving skills, Dom’s (Vin Diesel) Dom-ness, Letty’s (Michelle Rodriguez) amazing fighting skill and so on.
Hence I forgot, I missed Deckard’s fighting speed, accent, cute hard facial expressions. I love Uncle Jakob (John Cena) and little B (Leo Abelo Perry) together, reminds me of fun childhood with fun uncles, that allow you play video games, watch scary movies and listen to cool music like Celine Dion and Westlife.
And one thing that made the world love fast and furious was not missing; Speed, destruction, music, the sights (recommendation for vacations), the beautiful bold muscled fast cars and flying cars (Dom defying Gravity).
But am worried about some details, Tess visited Dom in Naples before his travel to Rio, but how come the agency back traced her flight to Rio? And also bumped on the reincarnations, first it was Han resurfacing after he died in a car crash and then Gisele (Gal Gadot)? She fell into a plane engine in Fast and Furious 6, how the hell did she survived? Someone get me some answers!!
A Fast XI or Fast and Furious XI!!! I hope the action and fun continues because based on experience, wonderful movies that end this way always have a shitty sequel or follow up. But I can’t wait to see: what Jason would do to the machineries, Dom’s team magical entrance because I don’t think the team crashed with the plane, the explanation of how Gisele survived, Han’s face when he sees her, and of all anticipation, which super hero Dom will become, Captain Marvel, Iron Man or Superman because that stance at the end is that of a superhero about to take off.
The Bull is coming!!!
Overall, the movie is wonderful and surpasses all odds the street gave it. Its a 8.5 perfect recommendation for me.
