Special Delivery (Korean: 특송; Hanja: 特送; RR: Teuksong) is a 2022 South Korean action crime film written and directed by Park Dae-mi. Starring Park So-dam, Song Sae-byeok, Jung Hyeon-jun, Yeon Woo-Jin and Kim Eui-sung.

This film reminds of Jason Statham’s transporter but with less destruction.

Jang Eun-ha (Park So-dam) is a former North Korean defector-turned-special delivery clerk in Busan who leaves for Seoul to pick up a former baseball player Kim Doo-Sik (Yeon Woo-Jin) who is involved in an illegal gambling trade for delivery but everything went to chaos and she was caught in the middle of taking care of a boy and protecting him from corrupt cops.

This Korean version of the Transporter is wonderful and eventful. The film is both relaxing and fun, it was neither too serious nor too comical. The lightning, camera handling, casting and costume was Perfect down to the blood representation and every bit of blood spillage was well captured.

The protagonist character Jang Eun-ha was superb, her acting was excellent, her fighting skill wasn’t over-exaggerated neither was her driving skills, it was all perfect. The character was pure skillful, dedicated and smart.

The corrupt cop Jo Kyung-Pil (Song Sae-Byeok) was wonderful, wasn’t too serious, but showed his seriousness when needed. I love the part where he cut asif’s angle and was about dismembering his foot before CEO Baek (Kim Eui-Sung) stopped him. He immediately withdrew to his joker smiley self which was wonderful, and nothing was given away until CEO Baek pulled out the shotgun, what an awesome directing.

The last fight was well settled and was not crowded out by the police, they came at the exact time. This type of pure storytelling, acting and directing is rare in all movie industry.
