Kenshinro Ololade (born March 14, 1995) popularly known as Lil Kesh was a beast in his early musical years after being signed to Olamide’s record label YBNL.
Lil Kesh was born and raised in Bariga, a suburb in Lagos, Nigeria and started his musical career in 2012 while rapping amongst his peers in Bariga. He was pretty much in the background until he dropped “Lyrically” which became popular especially in Nigeria Universities. Lil Kesh was at the top of the music charts then, which later brought about his nomination in the Best New Act to Watch category in 2015.
2015 was a great year for Lil Kesh as the banger records couldn’t stop coming among them are Efejoku, Gbese, Is it Because I love you amongst others.
Lil Kesh Shoki was one of the most vibed song, which was popular in the streets just like Asake’s Omo Ope has been known in recent months.
Lil Kesh discography isn’t short of worldies when it comes to the music industry, as one could argue that his first studio album YOUNG AND GETTING IT in 2016 which later became his record label name was one of the best album of the year.
The Young and Getting It (YAGI) album was a really well made, generally accepted album as it had banga songs like Efejoku, Cause Trouble, Is it Because I love you, Semilore amongst others.
