If you’re not new to the world of Narcos, then you’ll know Miguel Angel Felix Galardo (El Padrino) and what he did for the cartel, creating the Plaza and unification of them all with him as the middleman, easing the Cartel war and peaceful drug dealing business which eventually thrived all the Narco bosses.
This series MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN however isn’t centred on the Narco world, but centred on a town KINGSTOWN which only thriving industry is the Prison industry and all that comes with it. Just like any other dead town in the US, it is plagued by gangs, drugs, violence and all crime in between.
Mayor of KINGSTOWN isn’t the actual mayor but a specific member of the McLusky family who created a business of being an intermediary (Power broker) of gangs, drug dealers, the under represented and low light shedding biggest gang of all; the Police and their unions.
The McLusky brothers are power brokers with a little bit of moral compass, they always find a way to offer advice and serve as an intermediary for any and all the groups whenever they want something done and he also runs the prison gangs. They believe, they are in a way doing it all for the good of the town and the people in order to prevent war and killings all over.
All this sounds like a noble cause to follow if all parties abide to it and nobody disobeys, but it will all come to a change when one of the McLusky family loses his life to a thief who is part of a gang in Kingstown.
Mayor of Kingstown is currently a two season series comprising of eight episodes, the current season 2 is still in continuation as only 2 episodes have been released in January 2023 on a weekly basis
