Sporting events have always been a great stage for music artists to push their music to yet another level, even though the artists that are mostly called for performances are already well known. It is a stage for different people from multiple background with love for sports get to listen to one of the biggest artists in the world perform live.
Different artists have benefited from this like Camila Cabello, who performed at the Champions League Final and BTS (Korean Pop star), Balqees, DAVIDO (Nigerian Superstar) and several others who benefited heavily from the World Cup opening and closing ceremony performances. Sporting events have also benefited the likes of The Weekend, Jay Z, Lionel Richie and several others.
Rihanna’s performance at the SUPER BOWL LVII Halftime was nothing short of Breathtaking.
The stage arrangements was crazy with a nicely indexed stage that later dropped down and retracted upward with Rihanna on it during the performance, she could only be faulted for not bringing on KANYE when she performed their song ALL OF THE LIGHTS and JAY Z for the RUN THIS TOWN performance, that would have been a crazy show because, I paused expecting to hear the voice from the background, I believe everyone would have gone bananas over that one.
