We all love a good franchise movie, movie you can binge on a marathon with your friends or loved one(s) throughout the weekend or the holidays. Here are wonderful, intriguing, action packed franchise movie you can binge this holiday:

Bad Boys is a series of American buddy cop action comedy films.It stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as two detectives in the Miami Police Department, Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.

Its so far a three part franchise with a fourth in the works. The first part “Bad Boys” was released in 1995, where Mike and Marcus was to recover $100 million worth of drug which also became a revenge mission after a friend was murdered

The second part “Bad Boys II ” released in 2003, where Mike and Marcus head a task force to investigate the flow of ecstacy in Miami. The third part “Bad Boys for Life” released in 2020, where Mike was against his own son.

An unnamed fourth part is in the works as is set to be released June 14, 2024.

The Sixth installment “Fast & Furious 6” in May 24, 2013, the seventh “Furious 7” in April 3, 2015, and “The Fate of the Furious” which was the eighth installment released in April 14, 2017. A spin-off film “Fast & Furious Present: Hobbs & Shaw” was released in August 2, 2019.

The ninth instalment “F9” was released in June 25, 2021 and the tenth “Fast X” was released May 19, 2023. There is an eleventh part in the development which would bridge Fast X and the spin-off Boobs and Shaw. It’s set to be titled Hobbs and Reyes.

So far, that’s 10 part of high adrenaline, speed, destruction loyalty and family worth of movie. The series has been commercially successful. It is Universal’s biggest franchise and the seventh highest-grossing film series, with a combined gross of over $7 billion.[

The Purge is an American anthology media franchise centered on a series of dystopian action horror films. The films present a seemingly normal, crime-free America in the near-future. However, the country is a dystopia which observes an annual event known as “the Purge”, in which all crime, including murder, is decriminalized for a 12-hour period.

The franchise began in 2013 with “The Purge”, then a sequel “The Purge Anarchy” in 2014. In 2016, the third part instalment “The Purge: Election Year” was released, followed by a fourth part “The First Purge” in 2018.

In 2021, the fifth installment “The Forever Purge” was released and that same year it was announced that a sixth part will be coming soon.

The first installment “The Bourne Identity” was released in June 14, 2002, with the sequel “The Bourne Supremacy” in July 23, 2004. The third installment in “The Bourne Ultimatum” was released August 3, 2007. The fourth installment “The Bourne Legacy” which starred Jeremy Renner (as Aaron Cross) to replace the unavailable Matt Damon was released August 10, 2012 and the final part “Jason Bourne” was released July 29, 2016.

Creed

Creed is an American sports drama film and a spin-off film series from the original franchise “Rocky”. The spin-off franchise are Creed (2015), followed by Creed II (2018), and Creed III (2023). The series stars Michael B. Jordan as boxer Adonis Creed, with Stallone as his trainer in the first two films. The Creed films were directed by Ryan Coogler, Steven Caple Jr., and Jordan respectively.
