Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds, a Canadian born actor (born October 23, 1976) is one of the greats to grace Hollywood when it comes to acting, as he was awarded a Star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He is a talented actor who takes his work seriously by becoming his character and giving his best. He began his career starring in the Canadian teen soap opera Hillside (1991–1993), and had minor roles before landing the lead role on the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl between 1998 and 2001.

His sense of humour and sarcasm is top notch and can be seen in his movies and if you follow him through socials you will notice it’s not just in his movies. He is Handsome and his smile is to die for, this is clear as he was named the people’s sexist man aive in 2010. He is one of the actors you will watch and be filled with smile. His movies are always highly anticipated and always meets up to the hype.

He is an amazing business man and has ties in sports world as he co-owns Wrexham a Welsh football club in England with Rob McElhenney.

Below are my top 10 list in no particular order:

The Adams Project

Ryan Reynolds
Adam Project

Time-travelling fighter pilot Adam Reed teams up with his 12-year-old self for a mission to save the future after unintentionally crash landing in 2022.

This is one wonderful sci-fi movie filled with humor and enough sarcasm to put the word sarcasm to shame. Seeing the little/Present Adam Reed (Walker Scobell) gave me picture of Ryan Reynolds as a kid, troublesome, Sarcastic, fearless and inquisitive. It was fun seeing two of them go head to head on being the most sarcastic in the movie.

Speaking about acting, Ryan being Ryan became his character and made it really hard for anyone to distinguish him from his character. But Walker, that was a performance!! I have watched him in movies as being bulled little boy but he never gives up, he has this similar traits of ‘as long as I have my mouth and I speak, I am not giving up’, with Ryan.

I am rating this movie a strong 9.5/10 on everything, story, character, casting, picture, costume, fight scene and all. Seeing this movie would make you wish to be in trouble with bad guys as long you are Ryan and have a bad ass girlfriend/wive like Laura Shane (Zoe Saldana).

The Proposal

Ryan Reynolds
The Proposal

When New York editor Margaret faces deportation, she convinces her assistant Andrew to marry her in return for a promotion. However, when she visits his hometown, it changes her in many ways.

This movie is about one of the oldest ways for an immigrant to get a permanent visa in America. Marry a citizen for a number of years and poof, you get a card. This is what Margaret (Sandra Bullock) a Canadian Immigrant plans on dong with her assistant Andrew (Ryan Reynolds) when her visa expired and she is to be deported and lose her job.

Margaret is a tough boss whom everyone fears, and she is the type of boss her employee would sign the petition of making it a crime to for an employer to contact an employee after work.

The most amazing art is how they could both fall in love with each other within 2 days of spending time together as fake fiancee. Maybe having to play been married to someone opens you up faster to them.

The outstanding part for me is the usual Ryan sarcastic response to even his boss, for someone who supposedly had a scary boss, it never stopped him from been him.

I rate this RomCom an 85/100.

This is another Action Comedy where One (Ryan Reynolds) a tech billionaire fakes decides to fake his death and change the world by fighting evil. Having to be an emotionally detached boss who focuses on the mission only and sees any other person even his team as a collateral damages.

This is has a well put together story line, casting and acting. As usual in all Ryan’s movies, the pictures, costume and all are perfect. And I will commend the theme songs from this movie as this is were i fell in love Bishop Briggs.

I rate this movie a 85/100.

Deadpool

Ryan Reynolds
Deadpool

Ajax, a twisted scientist, experiments on Wade Wilson, a mercenary, to cure him of cancer and give him healing powers. However, the experiment leaves Wade disfigured and he decides to exact revenge.

An enthralling comic action by Marvel, where Ryan Reynolds (Wade) played a cancerous patients who experimented on by a twisted scientist and gifted with a disfigured face and healing powers better than that of of Wolverine. This is the first of a now two and half block buster with the third one coming to our screen in the year 2024 staring Wolverine (Hugh Jackman).

In the midst of fighting gang lords, machineries and other bad guys, Ryan still finds a huge amount of time to keep his mouth company. With talk backs, sarcastic comments and others, he never stop talking.

Free Guy

Ryan Reynolds
Free Guy

When Guy, a bank teller, learns that he is a non-player character in a bloodthirsty, open-world video game, he goes on to become the hero of the story and takes the responsibility of saving the world.

I am a huge fan of GTA and I wonder about the life of the non-playable characters (NPC) we run over, shoot, beat to death for fun. Free Guy is a movie about the life of an NPC named Guy (Ryan Reynolds) in a game world who began to evolve and questions his daily routine of waking, going to work as a cashier in a bank and getting robbed. He then decides to do something about which made him a hero and famous in the gaming community. Before he met and fell in love with a character Molotov Girl (Jodie Comer) who in the real world is trying get her game back from the man who stole and redesigned it.

Ryan’s embodiment of his character without loosing his sense of humour and sarcasm is wonder to behold. And the last fight between Guy and Guy Boss is outstanding and enticing as they could choose weapons from Super heroes like Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man and others.

I rate he movie a 90/100.

The fight scenes, shooting, killing and destruction is top notch. Ryan’s Humor and sarcastic nature in the midst of the his frustration caused by Darius was not rare.

Hitman’s Bodyguard is the first of the currently two part movie with the second Hitman’s Wife Bodyguard which as intriguing and interesting and the first. Sequels to good movies has always been below par but this was as much above par as the first.
