The series delves into the complexities of his character, making viewers both repulsed and strangely sympathetic towards him.

The series starts with Guinevere Beck waking into Joe’s bookstore and he struck by the lightning of love at first sight. This scene makes the series look like a Romance but it is a very disturbing and twisted romance. Joe became the actual definition of stalking and he is very good at it, he is slicky spy and a Ninja.

The writing is sharp, with a constant sense of tension and unpredictability that keeps you hooked throughout. The use of voice-over narration, where Joe’s inner thoughts are revealed, adds an eerie dimension to the story, allowing viewers to get inside the mind of a stalker. The show also delves into social media and privacy issues, making it very relevant to the modern age.

The supporting casts delivers strong performances that add depth to the narrative. The series explores themes of identity, morality, and the blurred lines between love and obsession.

However, “You” is not for the faint of heart. It contains graphic and disturbing scenes that may not be suitable for everyone. It raises ethical questions about the boundaries of privacy and the consequences of our online actions.

Overall, “You” is a thought-provoking and chilling series that will leave you questioning the nature of love and the darkness that can lurk beneath the surface of seemingly ordinary people. If you enjoy psychological thrillers and can handle the intense themes, it’s definitely worth a watch.
